Call Before Visiting Hennepin Court
Call-before-go guidance is important in Hennepin County because hearings may be remote, in person, continued, moved, or tied to a specific division. The Court Contact Center is 612-348-6000 and is listed for questions about hearings, records, and division routing. Court hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed holidays. Public access terminals follow the same weekday business-hour pattern at the Records Center.
Visitors should allow time for weapons screening, especially at the Government Center and Public Safety Facility. The Government Center is near Government Plaza station on the METRO Blue and Green Lines, and the Public Safety Facility is only a few blocks away. Family Court notices have also directed in-person Family Court hearings to the Government Center while remote hearings continue as scheduled, so checking the hearing notice and calling the court can prevent a trip to the wrong location.
